Come See SOPD vs. Seton Hall Women’s BB Alumni for Autism Acceptance Fundraiser!

The South Orange Police Department asks you to join them on Thursday May 9th, at 7 pm at Seton Hall’s Walsh Gymnasium (400 South Orange Avenue, South Orange, NJ) for an “electrifying showdown” as PBA Local 12 of the South Orange Police Department square off against the Seton Hall Women’s Alumni Basketball Team in an exhibition game for Autism Acceptance fundraising.

Sgt. Nicholas Lonero, head of Special Operations for the SOPD, notes that “Every dollar raised will go directly to Nassan’s Place, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children and families impacted by autism in our communities. Through educational initiatives, recreational programs, and social outings, Nassan’s Place is making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by autism.”

He and the SOPD urge you to not miss this opportunity to enjoy a spirited game while contributing to a meaningful cause: “Together, we can make a difference and raise awareness for autism.”

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by cash or check (at the door) or via Zelle and Cash App (in Notes include your name and #SHU). Zelle is 862-837-0543. Cash App is local12pba@gmail.com.
