Quick and Easy Global Entry Interviews Offered by South Orange Police Dept. on Aug. 3rd

By SOPD and the Community Police Collaborative

The South Orange Police Department is teaming up with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to provide South Orange residents a convenient and easily accessible way to complete their Global Entry Access background interviews. Global Entry allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to receive expedited clearance upon arrival into the United States through automatic kiosks at select airports.

On Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, South Orange residents who have previously filed applications for Global Entry may be eligible to have their final interview with U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the South Orange Police Department, located at 201 South Orange Avenue, South Orange.

Normally, an applicant must wait sometimes months to get an appointment to travel to U.S. Customs and Border Protection office. However, due to a working relationship between South Orange PD and U.S. Customs, these interviews are being offered to South Orange residents as a local option for them on August 3rd.

NJ. U.S. Customs and Border Protection will be notifying those South Orange residents who have already submitted applications for Global Entry. If you have not submitted an application and wish to apply, please do so as soon as possible, so that you can hopefully take advantage of this one-time event in South Orange.
