The South Orange Police Department invites everyone to come out to Flood’s Hill in South Orange starting at 5 pm on Tuesday, August 6th for an evening of FREE entertainment, rides, food and games for the kids. The evening will include a free movie (Migration) to be shown at 8 pm and giveaways of National Night Out T-Shirts, Footballs, NNO Tattoos, SOPD Wristbands, Bubbles, Beach balls, Stickers Etc.
National Night Out is an annual event aimed at fostering community spirit and strengthening the relationship between police and residents to create safer, more caring neighborhoods. This initiative enhances the bond between law enforcement and the community, reviving a true sense of togetherness. It offers a unique chance for police and neighbors to connect under positive circumstances.

Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August. Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.
